Most of the Novell Server administrators run Trustee.nlm to create a backup of trustee rights on all of the volumes of Novell server. When the backup run takes place, they backup the right file produced by Trustee.nlm. This way, if they need to recover and they run into problems with trustee rights and data stored on their server volumes, they have something to fall back on.
But sometimes, it could create problems. While processing on any Novell server volume, you may receive the following error message (on the system console):
”Error: NWGetLongName failed [35327/0/0]”
